I'm Deryk, I am a photographer based in the northern beaches area of Sydney Australia and operate under the brand of DEZAU ART.
I specialise in Portraits, Headshots, Lifestyle & Fashion, and Fitness. Basically I enjoy working with people.
Over many years I have the pleasure photographing people, either as individuals, couples including families, or also for those that may be interested in becoming a professional model. My focus as the photographer is to make you as the individual look great, achieve stellar images, whilst at the same time ensuring that you enjoy the whole photo shooting experience.
Bringing your story to life is a passion, so helping you and seeing your reaction with the images is highly rewarding. I am comfortable to shoot more the casual look to high end editorial type images, including portraits and head-shots (professional, actors, or even just LinkedIn), along with any other time of theme that you may be interested in for your personal collection and fond memories.
Further, I have worked extensively with individuals who are interested in pursuing modeling. Working with both individuals who have never had a professional photo shoot before to seasoned models both agencies listed and freelance, the focus always remains on you and helping you to get better images. Whilst some photographers will rush you through the photo shoot, I prefer to take more time to explain and support you in obtaining the best images. If you are new to modeling, then I am happy to work with you, explaining how to pose, things to look out for, and to complete the journey the steps to get into modelling. The result is we work towards a portfolio that you can use to launch your passion. And if you already have completed some photo shoot, then our focus is on how we make your portfolio stronger, addressing what could be missing or areas that we could complement your portfolio.
